Guidelines for the use of the School email list

The School provides to staff, students and honorary research associates a communal email service, and you may subscribe to that here.

If using this service it is important to follow standard good practice for netiquette  

In particular, please:

DO

use the list to notify fellow subscribers of meetings, activities, events or services that are highly likely to be of interest because they relate to the School, University or issues about spatial science, environment, geography, place, planning and management;

and

use equitable, respectful, measured, accessible, inclusive and appropriate language.

DO NOT

use the list to promulgate personal opinions about any subject or about any meetings, activities, events or services, or about any of the ideological or political positions therein represented.

This service is provided at the discretion of the Head of School. Any person unable or unwilling to conform to these guidelines may be counselled, cautioned and/or summarily removed from the list and will need to seek the Head of School’s permission to have his/her subscription reinstated.
